Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport at 9.00 am from Nairobi with PRECISION AIR, PW 727. You will be met by our guide and drive to Arusha airport for your flight to Serengeti National Park ETD 1300/ETA 1420 operated by Coastal Aviation. You will land into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park. With its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. You head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. You will meet our experienced Guide to welcome you. You will start a game drive in the area and in the evening en route to Ole Serai Luxury Lodge Serengeti arriving on time for hot showers, campfire, drinks and snacks, dinner and overnight. ALL-INCLUSIVE
Day 2: Full Day Serengeti National Park
Spend a full day exploring the vast Serengeti plains. You will rise early to enjoy an early morning game drive. At sunrise, you may encounter animals grazing in the beautiful light of sunrise and predators may still be busy hunting before retiring to rest for the day. Sunrise on the Serengeti is not to be missed and extraordinary photographic opportunities will abound at this magical time of day. You have the option to return to your accommodation for a hot lunch or to opt for a packed lunch which can be enjoyed at one of the various picnic sites found in the Serengeti. After lunch, you will continue on a game drive. Around the time of dusk be on the lookout for lion.
Cheetah can also be spotted on the plains in the early morning and late afternoon when temperatures are not too high. They rely on daylight and speed to catch their prey. Hippo pods can be seen in the bigger pools and rivers while crocodiles can be seen sunning themselves on the riverbanks. You will return to Ole Serai Luxury Lodge Serengeti in time to enjoy a sundowner before your evening meal. ALL-INCLUSIVE
Day 3: Neptune Luxury Lodge Ngorongoro
BALLOON RIDE: Your Balloon Safari adventure starts early morning when you depart your lodge or camp. It is still dark and you may be fortunate to see nocturnal animals on the way to the launch site.
When you arrive, you will meet your pilot and witness your balloon being inflated and prepared for launch.
After a thorough safety briefing and demonstration of boarding and landing positions, you board your balloon and lift off! Rising as the sun rises your balloon floats in whatever direction the winds of the day are heading over this wonderful area.
It is an adventure – even for us. Whereas we know where we have started, we genuinely do not know where we will land as we float in the direction of and speed of the wind. After your breakfast, your guide will pick you up at around 10 am and drive via Ngorongoro crater rim to Neptune Lodge.
En-route you will visit a Maasai Boma where you will get the chance to see the Maasai performing their traditional dances. You may even get a chance to join in! Then after, drive to Neptune Luxury Lodge for dinner and overnight. ALL-INCLUSIVE
Day 4:Full Day Ngorongoro Crater
Leave in the morning and drive to the Ngorongoro crater for a full day game drive. Descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants.
Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. You will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater.
A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here. Evening drive back to Neptune Luxury Lodge Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight. ALL-INCLUSIVE Neptune Ngorongoro
Day 5: Fly home
Today is the last day of your safari in Tanzania. You have time to explore Arusha town and if interested in shopping.
